SF4Democracy will hold a General & PAC Meeting on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 between 7 - 9 PM at the Mission Police Station Community Room at 630 Valencia St. with a cross of 17th St. Agenda items will include: A presentation by Rebecca Griffin of Peace Action West urging an end to the Afghanistan War. A vote by members to early endorse CA State Prop 19 (legalize marijuana) and Prop 25 (simple majority to pass the State Budget.) In addition, the membership will decide whether to early oppose Prop 23 (would do an end run around CA laws that curb climate changing carbon emissions) and Prop 26 (would require a two-thirds vote to approve all fees by State and local government.) There will be presenters on the propositions. All sides will be encouraged to participate. All members in good standing will be allowed to vote throughout the meeting.
